Week 6: nobody comes to work to do a bad job
Writing weeknotes on a Monday is a problem, as I’ve mostly forgotten what I did last week. But here’s what I remember.
I spent some time thinking about building a report on the environmental factors that make for a resilient environment for change.
I started thinking about how to raise awareness of this on LinkedIn. I’ve considered other platforms, but I think LinkedIn is good for now. I’ve been playing around with some kind of daily posting built on the statement “nobody comes to work to do a bad job”, and asking what causes people to do a bad job.
I sent a few more emails to people in Geneva using HubSpot’s send-later feature, which takes some of the stress out. I can batch them up and know they’ll go at a good time. I chose 10am on Friday. Waiting for replies.
I only spent two days working last week. The weather was glorious, and with French half term looming, I took every chance I had to go skiing. I went up to the Bivouac des Périades, a tiny triangular hut perched on top of a mountain. It’s big enough for two people to sleep. Here it is.
